As a Trainee Pool Technician you will be client facing, dealing day to day with
our elite clientele as directed by the Senior Service Manager to ensure their
pools and spas are clean, serviced and optimum water chemistry is achieved
to allow them to indulge in the opulent luxury of their Wet Leisure equipment.
You will begin your career in Wet Leisure by shadowing a Pool Technician /
Pool Engineer to ensure you have the necessary skills and experience to look
after your own clients upon successful completion of this initial period.
We would expect the successful trainee to achieve Pool Technician status
within 3 months with the possibility of progressing to Pool Engineer and
Senior Engineer through continuing training and development.
The successful applicant will be fit and physically able to carry out their duties,
be ‘hands on’, practically minded and have a high degree of common sense.
You will need to be presentable, have excellent customer service skills, be
self-motivated and ultimately take pride in and be responsible for your work.
You must hold a valid, current driving license to be considered.
We offer an attractive remuneration package which includes a company van
after satisfactory completion of the training period.

You will be given a company vehicle to carry out your duties, as directed by
the Senior Service Manager to include refurbishment works, modifications and
all associated works with swimming pools and wet leisure items. You will be a
key member of our expanding team of professionals as we look to increase
our business to its maximum potential in terms of service quality and building
excellence.
Part of you duties as Pool Engineer will be to train and mentor Trainee Pool
Technicians in line with our newly created Training Program.

We are particularly keen to hear from you if you possess the following: ISPE
qualified engineer. PWTAG certified knowledge. BISHTA certified hot tub
water chemistry. Knowledge of SPATA standards. Leak detection and sonar
testing experience. Liner installation. Cover instillation. Dosing system
experience, both commercial and domestic. Domestic and commercial saunas
and steam rooms. You must hold a valid, current driving license to be
considered for this position.
