WOMENS HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPIST – SUBCONTRACTOR POSITION

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced women’s health physiotherapist with
expertise in antenatal and postnatal care to join our multidisciplinary clinic conveniently
located in Berwick, launching in February 2016. This is a subcontractor position and you will
require your own ABN.
We offer on-site parking and a supportive working environment in an ambient, modern light
filled space.
GLOW is a contemporary, multidisciplinary clinic that supports the emotional health and
wellbeing of women, their infants and families – from preconception to kindergarten.
GLOW brings together like-minded colleagues including perinatal psychiatrists, perinatal
psychologists, child psychologists, paediatric specialists, lactation consultants, early
parenting consultants, midwives, dieticians/nutritionists, women’s health physiotherapists,
yoga instructors, and massage therapists.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to:



Have considerable input into the development of the physiotherapy program
Offer individual ante natal and post natal appointments
Run antenatal / postnatal and mums and bubs group exercise program
The successful applicants will possess:




The ability to work autonomously;
A willingness to work collaboratively with other GLOW colleagues;

practice and model of care;

Essential Criteria:








Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist;
Post graduate certificate in pelvic floor and/or women’s health physiotherapy:
Substantial experience in one or both of;
 pelvic floor physiotherapy and/or
 antenatal / post natal/ mums and bubs group exercise programs
Eligible to gain a Medicare Provider Number;
Private Health Fund Provider Number;
Professional Indemnity Insurance;
Current Australian Business Number to work as a sub-contractor:
Working with Children Card.
