What happens if all we have going into IEP development is the test results?
Functional? Identify the examples of functional skills.
Reflect and Practice – what is the difference between functional and nonfunctional?
What do you think? Is the statement subjective or objective?
Objective or Subjective? Choose from the three.
Quality questions or not?

Review the Results Matters Authentic Assessment video online at

ACTIVITY 2.1 – Functional Write Up or Not? Choose the best write up. WHY is it the
best – what features make it better than the other one?
Wrap-up

Review a PLAAFP: Review a recently developed PLAAFP that you were involved in.
Did it include good rich descriptions of the child’s functional skills? Were there
vague statements that needed descriptive examples to fully understand the child’s
skill? As you review it, what changes (if any) would you make if you were to write it
again?
