Currently i am working as a Lecturer GIS/RS in the Institute of Geography/Urban & Regional Planning
University of Peshawar since December 2012 and leading applied research's in the field of GIS/RS and
hazard risk assessment. In addition to this engaged with NDPM as consultant for DRR projects.
I did my Masters in Geography (URP) from this institute and struggling to complete my M.phil thesis
work (Application of GIS & RS Technology for Regional planning of Hazard Prone Areas) from the same
institute.
Emphasizing on hazard risk assessment and spatial analysis as a specialized field of study and the
outputs will be published soon on national and international level publications.
As i join very recently the academia with enthusiasm to complete my P.hd work, after the successive
completion of different national and international level assignments in Pakistan and abroad, the

 Development of the Web Based Activity Tracking (ATS) system for live monitoring of USAID projects
& programs, key reasonability was to develop Geo Database for the system to link the activities with
GIS Coordinates.
 Assist Director GIS in Flood Hazard Analysis (GIS input in flood Hazards analysis) to give a full
support to USAID for distribution and rehabilitation activities.
 Worked on flood simulation model of Kabul river, identification of risk area and derived areas
suitable for affected population migration.
 To establish Liaison and Coordination with field staff and other USAID partners for accurate data
entry and maintenance of ATS system, finally Data retrieving and preparation Activities maps for
USAID.
 Land use Mapping for the urban centres planning in FATA.
