you go from nautical to statute, Fahrenheit to Celsius and 12 other common conversions at the touch
of a button. Operates on ordinary AAA batteries (not included) and includes a soft-sided carrying

Four arrow keys make selecting the proper function simple. The oversized, easy-to-read screen
prompts you for the proper inputs as you work through a problem line by line. Information from
previous computations is automatically retained for future use—no need to retype old data into new
problems.
Clock page permits simultaneous tracking of Zulu, Home and Local time zones. The advanced timer
counts up or down and operates independently so you can perform other calculations while the timer
is running. Upon reaching zero in the countdown mode, the timer begins flashing—a useful feature
for missed approaches, switching tanks, etc. The display measures 2 1/8"w x 2 3/8"h and turns off
automatically after four minutes of non-use, yet the clock and timer continue to operate.

May be used for FAA and Canadian Exams The CX-2 complies with Advisory Circular (AC) 60-11, Test Aids and
Materials that May be Used by Airman Knowledge Testing Applicants. Users may bring the CX-2 with them to the
testing centers for all pilot, mechanic, dispatcher, and FAA exams.

Numerous Aviation Functions Aviators can calculate true airspeed, ground speed, mach number, altitudes, fuel,
headings and courses, time/speed/distance, winds, headwind/crosswind components, gliding information, and weight
and balance. Users can change variables and recompute without re-entering the whole problem.

User Friendly The large, easy-to-read LCD screen displays prompts for fast and easy operation. Inputs and outputs
are labeled and numbers are displayed with units. The menu organization reflects how a flight is normally planned
and executed. This results in a natural flow from one function to the next with a minimum of keystrokes.

Ergonomic Design The CX-2 features a simple keyboard and slim design. The hard-plastic carrying case protects
the computer inside the flight bag, and fits on the back of the unit for storage while the computer is in use.

Unit Conversions The CX-2 has 16 unit conversions, including reciprocal conversions for nautical and statute miles,
nautical miles and kilometers, feet and meters, pounds and kilograms, gallons and liters, time in H:M:S and decimal
formats, Fahrenheit and Celsius temperatures, and millibars and inches of mercury.

Timers and Clocks The CX-2 has two timers: a stopwatch that counts up, and a count down timer. The internal clock
displays both local and UTC time and will keep time with the calculator turned off.

Interactive Functions Functions can be used together in “chain” calculations, where the answer to a preceding
problem is automatically entered into subsequent problems. Standard mathematical calculations and conversions can
be performed within each aviation function. The CX-2 uses four AAA batteries (included), and features a 5-year
warranty.

The Aero Products Research APR E6-B2HL Pilot Flight Computer is the Ultimate Wind Triangle & T/S/D
computer that calculates all necessary flight planning and en route navigation requirements. Included on the unit are
both low (40 to 270 kts or mi) and high (200 to 700 kts or mi) speed slides. Nautical and Statute scales for WAC and
Sectional Charts are on two rulers on the sides of the slide.
The high speed slide shows a crosswind component grid and nautical/statute scales for WAC and Sectional Charts.
Also included is a Compressibility F Factors Scale. This scale solves for pressure altitudes from 10,000 to 50,000 feet
and True or Calibrated Airspeed from 200 to 550 knots.
The Time/Speed/Distance computer determines fuel consumption solutions, density altitude factors, conversions for
true airspeed & altitude, mach number, kilometers, minutes to seconds, statute to nautical to statute miles, off-course
and drift corrections and provides slide-rule mathematics.
