Notes
Stay safe – Move slowly and carefully around your building, watch where you put your feet and mind your head! If you
aren’t sure it is safe, don’t go in!
You should be able to complete most of your building survey by using your observation skills. If you don’t know or can’t
see something, note it as UNKNOWN on your form.
Work as a team – discuss your answers and ideas with your group and make decisions together.
For some sections of the form, you may need to ask for help
Work with your team photographers – if there are any particular areas of neglect or damage that you spot, you may want
to get a photographic record to support your written survey.
For some areas of the form, there is no right or wrong answer – you need to use your common sense and express your
own opinions.
