Clinical Registries In Hand Surgery

Hand Registries are fairly new and currently available for specialized areas. We will
explore and evaluate existing registries such as The International Registry on Hand
Composite Tissue Transplantation; National Registry for Injury, Surgical Treatment
and Outcome of Elite Athletes’ Hand and Wrist Injury; Registry on the Use of
Processed Nerve Allografts; Clinical Registry for Adult Traumatic Brachial Plexus
Injuries and Swedish Hand Society HAKIR registry. This presentation will end with a
brief discussion on database availability and the most applicable and useful registry
in the Malaysian context.
