RESPONSE TO RFP AS-NEEDED LEGAL SERVICES
FEES
Hourly:
$75 per hour. Generally for municipal clients without a monthly retainer, we
charge $100 per hour which is less than the hourly rate for municipal
representation under MMRMA. However, as we are avid users of Paint
Creek Trail and live in the area served by the trail, we have a vested interest
in the and thus wish to keep costs low for the organization.
Per Diem:
Flat fees would be based upon the complexity of the issue, but in general
most common matters such as contract review can be accomplished for as
little as $250.
Meetings:
Flat fee of $100 per meeting. We believe it is important to have an attorney
present when discussing issues at open meetings so that real time advice
can accompany the discussion; as such, we keep our meeting fee low so
that no organization should feel pressured to forgo representation while in
open meetings.
PERSONNEL
All legal services will be provided by attorney Kevin Laidler. From time to time
partner Robert Zielinski may aid and/or appear in court under the guidance and
supervision of managing partner Kevin Laidler if the circumstances require.
INSURANCE
The firm maintains insurance coverage at the present time. If awarded the contract
insurance of the amount required will be obtained in compliance with the bid request.
