Till kravställaren
Beroende på upphandling kan kraven nedan ha olika relevans. Ta bort de
krav som saknar relevans från anbudsförfrågan.
För intern styrning inom kemiområdet, se TjF avseende livscykelansvar för
kemiska produkter och varor innehållande farliga kemiska ämnen.
Modulen kan tillämpas på lädervaror såsom skor av läder, läderhandskar
eller andra läderartiklar där en stor del av ytan vid avsedd användning
kommer i direkt hudkontakt.
Första delen av krav 1, ”Metallföreningar”, är uppdelad i tre olika
produktkategorier (A, B och C, se nedan). Kravställaren ska välja det kravet
som är lämpligt med avseende på den produkt som upphandlas – ta bort
övriga krav.
A: skor av läder. Krav a. är ett ska-krav, krav b. är ett bör-krav. Krav a. är
anpassat efter standarden ISO 20344, som används för att certifiera skodon
enligt standarderna EN ISO 20345, EN ISO 20346 och EN ISO 20347.
Krav b. är baserad på Nordisk miljömärknings kriterier för textilier, skinn
och läder version 3.5.
B: handskar av läder. Kravet är ett ska-krav och är anpassat efter relevant
standard för handskar (SS-EN 420).
C: övriga lädervaror. Krav a. är ett ska-krav, krav b. är ett bör-krav. Krav a.
är anpassat efter standarden ISO 20344. Krav b. är baserad på Nordisk
miljömärknings kriterier för textilier, skinn och läder version 3.5.
Förutom dessa krav ska leverantörens arbete inom kemiområdet kravställas

Nickel (CAS 7440-02-0) and its compounds shall not be used in metallic
details on the material/product that come into direct and prolonged contact
with the skin if the rate of nickel release exceeds 0,5 µg/cm2/week.

2. Dyes
Azocolourants thay may decompose to the aromatic amines listed in
Appendix 8, Annex XVII, in Regulation (EC) no 1907/2006 (Reach) shall
not be intentionally added to the leather and the concentrations not exceed 30 Requirement

3. Biocides
The following substances/compounds shall not be intentionally added to the
leather, or used during transport and storing:
 Dimethylfumarate (CAS 624-49-7).
 Polychlorinated phenols, such as pentachlorophenol (CAS 87-86-5),
2,3,5,6-tetrachlorophenol (CAS 935-95-5) and 2,4,6-trichlorophenol
(CAS 88-06-2) or salts/esters thereof.
 Silver (CAS 7440-22-4) and its compounds.
 2-(Thiocyanomethylthio)benzothiazole (TCMTB, CAS 21564-17-0).
 Tinorganic compounds, such as bis(tributyltin)oxide (CAS 56-35-9).

materials):
 PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonates, such as perfluorooctanesulfonic acid,
CAS 1763-23-1).
 PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid, CAS 335-67-1) or derivatives thereof.
 FTOH substances (fluorotelomeralcohol).

Fluorinated substances/compounds shall not be intentionally added to the
leather and the concentrations of the substances listed below not exceed 100
mg/kg (< 1 µg/m2 for coated materials):
 PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonates, such as perfluorooctanesulfonic acid,
CAS 1763-23-1).
 PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid, CAS 335-67-1) or derivatives thereof.
 FTOH substances (fluorotelomeralcohol).
5. Flame retardants
Leather shall not contain intentionally added tris(1-aziridinyl)phosphine
oxide (CAS 545-55-1).
6. Other
Leather shall not contain free and partially hydrolyzed formaldehyde (CAS
50-00-0) at a level exceeding 75 mg/kg.
