There are three promotional offers now available. I’m going to explain these in considerable detail,
since many readers will be new to the CreateSpace website that offers discounts. If you are buying the
books from outside of the U.S. and cannot access CreateSpace, email me and I will see if there are any
Amazon Affiliate programs you can use to obtain these benefits.
Promotion One: Buy One Get One Free!
If you buy the print version of the newest release in the Jehoshua series, Jehoshua: Conflagration, I will
send you a free PDF version of Book One, Jehoshua: Signs and Wonders. This will allow new readers to
"catch up" on what happened during the first 25 years of Christianity, since Book Two takes place during
the next 25 years.
Step One: Do NOT buy these books directly from Amazon.com. I am only authorized by Amazon to offer
discounts on CreateSpace, which is an Amazon subsidiary. Go to createspace.com, and on the blue
toolbar at the top, find “Site”. Click on “Site” and select “Store”.
Step Two: To the right of the “Store” box you will find a blank Search box. Type in my name, “Garrett
Glass”, and hit “Enter”. My three books will come up. Select “Jehoshua: Conflagration”, and hit “Enter”.
Step Three: If you are already a member of CreateSpace, you will have logged in and will therefore be
taken to checkout. If you are not a member, you will have to spend some time giving personal
information, selecting a user name and password, and providing a means of payment. If you are an avid
book reader, becoming a member of CreateSpace can be useful, because it is the best way to get book
discounts directly from authors.

Step Four: At the checkout stage, you will have Jehoshua: Conflagration in your cart. Purchase this book
for $15.99 or its foreign currency equivalent. There will be about $3.50 in shipping/handling costs if you
are purchasing in the U.S., though if you wish you can select expedited shipping at a higher cost. The
site will ask you to check all details, and then confirm the order so that the shipment can be made.
Step Five: Notify me at garrett@jehoshuathebook.com that you have purchased Jehoshua:
Conflagration and that you are requesting a free copy of Jehoshua: Signs and Wonders in pdf format.
Provide me with an email address to which I can send the file. Normally I do not check on my purchase
logs whether a person requesting a free book has actually bought a print copy of Jehoshua:
Conflagration, though it is possible to do this (by URL’s only; I never see any personal information about
my buyers). Usually I will email to you the free book on the next day. This will normally come in a zip
file or some other compressed format. Note that this file will not exactly match the formatting of the
print version. If you have any trouble reading the file, email me with a description of the problem which
I can work to solve.
Step Six: Read Book One first! Sounds obvious, but I do want to emphasize that the books are in
chronological sequence and some characters occur in both books.
Promotion Two: Buy Two Print Versions, Get a Discount on Both Books and a Free Book!

Book clubs, church groups, and college book stores prefer to buy my books in sets of five or more. I
offer wholesale discounts to individuals or groups wishing to buy any of my books in bulk, defined as any
order of five or more books in any of the three titles, or any order that averages out at five or more
books for the titles that are ordered. Wholesale discounts from established publishing houses can be
quite substantial, and return policies are available for retailers or groups who do regular business with
the publishing house. Authors working through Amazon are allowed more limited discounts for bulk
orders, ranging from 12% to 18%. Therefore, you’ll want to match your bulk order as closely as possible
to your anticipated demand. If you do find you have overstocked on any of the books, you can resell
them through Amazon.

ONE OTHER POINT! This is applicable to any book purchased on CreateSpace. CreateSpace always
lists books at their full retail price. Amazon.com, on the other hand, has the unilateral right to lower
the price without previous notice to the author. If one of my books retails for $15.99, for example,
and the maximum discount I am allowed to offer will bring the price down to $14.50 on CreateSpace,
Amazon will sometimes offer that book on its main website for $13.75, a price I cannot match using
their own system for discounts. Therefore, before you buy on CreateSpace, check the current price
for the same book on Amazon.com. My experience indicates that even with my limited discount, I can
do better overall than Amazon.com because I am also offering a free book in the package. Still, it
doesn’t hurt to check.
