We would like to thank JP, EP, US, KR and SE for the support and many comments.
Since there were many comments, we expect a new round of comments, once satisfying all was
(is) quite a challenge.
We used the term “aquatic animals” instead of “water-living animals”; we could find aquatic animal
already in the IPC.
We have the opinion that A01K63/00 covers receptacles and the surroundings (water, heating,
lighting), whereas A01K61/00 covers the culture of fish and devices therefor. For this reason we maintained
A01K61/025, not moving it to 63/00. For the same reason we now propose moving “Methods of cleaning
bottoms or walls of ponds or receptacles” (CPC A01K61/003) to a subgroup under 63/00. See annex 11 for
details
We are still not sure about creating many groups that could be technically under culture of shellfish
as one dot groups. We maintained culture of bivalves and crustaceans as subgroups of culture of shellfish.
Otherwise the shellfish title should have four precedence references and we wonder if it is effective. Besides,
just gastropods would be maintained as a subgroup of shellfish.
Numbering will be reviewed when the scheme is settled.
The following proposal is a clean version, see annex 11 for details.
