"Membership Rules?"
"Around 1943 or 1944, the Central Office asked the groups
to list their membership rules and send them in. After they
arrived we set them all down. A little reflection upon these
many rules brought us to an astonishing conclusion.
"If all these edicts had been in force everywhere at once it
would have been practically impossible for any alcoholic to
have ever joined A.A. About nine-tenths of our oldest and
best members could never have got by!"

***District 11 holds its business meeting, first Wednesday
(01 July) of each month, at Bethel Lutheran Church, at
6:00pm, (Route 40 & 272, behind McDonalds and car

****Joanne P. asks you to note that Saturday's Early Bird
12 in 12 group NO LONGER meets in Northeast Park at all,
but only meets at Hart's UMC, 3203 Turkey Point Road, at
8:30AM. The misinformation in the current MAY Directory
has been changed and will be reflected in the new printing
of the Directory in the next 4-6 weeks.
***The Wednesday Woman's Big Book Study group named
To Thine Own Self Be True is changing its start time to
SUMMER HOURS: one hour earlier at 11:00AM. This
change begins Wednesday July 1st and will continue
throughout the summer months. See you in the air
conditioned room!
***Effective July 5, 2015, Three Pertinent Ideas Group
that meets each Sunday at 6:30pm moves to the Unitarian
Universalist Fellowship of Harford Co, 2515 Churchville
Rd (Rt. 22), Churchville, Md 21028, just east of Campus
Hills shopping center. Come join us at our new location!
***VENUE CHANGE (one-time): Tuesday 28 July the
Solution For Living Group will meet at North East Town
Park, at the Benjamin Pavilion, 6:30 to 7:30, due to church
activities.
***District 30 meets on 2nd Wednesday (08 July) of each
month, at Grove Presbyterian Church, Aberdeen, MD,
from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
***PLEASE NOTE: Due to Church activities the first two
weeks in August, LUNCH BUNCH will meet ONLY
Tuesday thru Friday, August 4th thru 7th, and 11th thru 14th at
St. .John's Episcopal Church, Kingsville, Md. On Monday
17 August everything will return to "normal" times Thanks!
*****District 28 meets the third Wednesday each month
(15 July), at Bel Air United Methodist Church, room 202,
at 7:00 p.m.

****The Intergroup Council of Alcoholics Anonymous for
Northeast MD [NEMDAA] normally meets 2nd Tuesday, of
each month, BUT WILL NOT MEET in July. They will
meet August 11th and ask every home group to send a
representative to this vitally important planning meeting.

***PLEASE NOTE: The We Are Not Saints gathering of
Alcoholics Anonymous WILL NOT MEET on TUESDAY
30 JUNE at 5:45pm, Havre de Grace UMC, due to Church
activities.
...We must report that CLINTON FOSTER died around
June 18, 2015. Clinton was a devoted member of A.A. and
especially active in the Rumsey Island and Lunch Bunch
groups. He is an example of service in action and will be
deeply missed by all who knew him.
