XC Altitude Training Camp 2014 - Sunday July 20, 2014 to Thursday, July 24, 2014 Dear Parents and Runners: Please find the following items attached to this correspondence: Trip agenda / schedule; Trip budget; Packing list with request that each boy bring a few group food items to share (to follow shortly); Accommodation information: http://www.vrbo.com/509477, based on the projected number of boys attending the training camp and parent chaperones. Lodging may change if the total count is lower than 10. In one short week those runners attending the 2014 LCHS Cross Country altitude training session will be on their way! Before the runners leave there is much to be done to ensure a fun, successful and safe trip. Therefore, please review this email and its attachments and respond to the organizing team by e-mail or phone by Wednesday, July 16, 2014. First and foremost we need answers to the following: Will you / your son be attending the training camp? Please respond with a yes or a no ASAP! Two parent chaperones are urgently needed; if you are available and willing to have some fun with the boys; please respond with a yes for the whole trip, or for any part of the trip please list the days you are available. Lastly, do you /your son have any dietary restrictions that we need to be made aware of when planning for group meals? If you / your son will be attending there will be a permission slip distributed at tomorrow’s practice. The completed slip along with a fee of $325.00 for your son will be due on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. The planning team will be shopping for food, and finalizing the lodging arrangements this week Thursday and Friday. If the funds requested and the permission slips have not been returned by Wednesday, then the trip will open up on a first come, first serve basis to all participating boy team members. We are looking forward to a GREAT boy’s season, and the chance to improve La Canada’s standing in league competition! All the early morning work outs will pay off, and the team will have a great time celebrating their collective efforts!
