Study skills
Studying at college is completely different to studying in school. Most of the time you will be expected to
work independently. Use this check list to discover how you learn best (reading, listening, doing) and how
to improve study skills such as writing essays and taking notes.
You should discuss these with your parents or guidance counselor / resource teacher. You may need to
practice these or complete a course.
You could complete it like this:
