Name ________________________________________ Spanish 1, Unit 3 Mi Aula Ideal - Project Task Description Class Period __________ For this project, you will design your ideal, dream classroom. You will be expected to create a diagram that illustrates your ideal classroom, complete with colors, and label the objects in your classroom. You will also write ten sentences describing the objects in the classroom, and write a complete paragraph describing your experiences as a student. In this packet, you will find sample diagrams, a rubric, a checklist, and step-by-step tasks to help you complete this project in a focused, timely, and successful manner. Project Requirements: The project should include the title: “Mi Aula Ideal” Create a diagram of your ideal classroom and label (in Spanish) at least 20 different objects within the classroom The project can be completed on the computer or drawn on paper (see models below). You should use color in your diagram (if on the computer, color afterwards or change the color on the computer) Write ten complete sentences on looseleaf paper (be sure to include school heading). Five of your sentences may describe objects by color OR by quantity (in Spanish). Five of your sentences should describe objects by their location (in Spanish). Write one well-developed paragraph (6-8 sentences) about your experience as a student. You can describe your classes, talk about why you like/dislike them, and/or describe your daily class schedule. Suggestions: Use tener que, tener, ir, -ar verbs, or anything else you have learned that you think will help you. You must show Ms. Mohamed the draft of your writing, make any corrections necessary, and complete all steps listed on your project checklist, including peer-editing. Make sure you self-assess your final product and fill out your rubric before turning in your work. Your final version of your diagram, sentences, and paragraph will be turned in on printer paper and/or looseleaf paper. All draft work must be completed in this packet, which you will also turn in.
