Pitt Advantage Grant
Summer 2014
Background and Information:
The Pitt Advantage Grant provides undergraduate students who have completed the OCC assistance
for a Summer 2014 study abroad experience, an unpaid internship, or service learning project. All
learning experiences must take place during the Summer 2014 semester. This grant will enhance
the student’s college experience and directly links to the purpose of the OCC: helping students
receive a well-rounded education and ultimately gain a competitive edge for the job marketplace or
graduate or professional schools.
Eligibility Requirements:
 Undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh Main Campus

Full-time status for no less than 2 terms (Baccalaureate degree in progress)

Not on academic probation

Will return to the university as a full-time student the following semester following the
learning experience

Have fully completed all goals and requirements of the Outside the Classroom Curriculum
Application Deadline and Important Information
Scholarships will be awarded at $1,500 each.
Deadline: March 24, 2014 at 9 AM in 708 William Pitt Union.

Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted—you must submit all the components of the
application for your application to be considered valid. Grant recipients will be chosen and
