The ability of raters, using the Life History Strategy Rating Form, to assess life history strategy after
reading individual’s narratives of their life high and low points was tested. While the research is on-going,
the initial results (using the combined ratings of two raters) suggest that narratives may provide
information concerning an individual’s life history strategy and that this can be accurately measured.
