In this unit, we will provide students with the knowledge and tools necessary to explain historical narratives using primary and secondary sources, as well as answer questions about historical events, people, and places. Students will acquire the ability to view events that happened in the past from multiple perspectives. Student learning will focus on the understanding of how events, individuals, and ideas have influenced the history of local and regional communities.
