One Act Plays: Congratulations to all who auditioned for One Acts this year. Please see the cast lists outside
the theatre door for your part(s). A mandatory all cast read through will take place in the theatre today at
3:30. If you cannot attend you must see Mrs. Nicholson Kelly or Mrs. Keehborn to let them know.
Congratulations to the Guardian Wrestlers who competed at the city championship tournament this
past Thursday and Friday at Bethlehem High School. The following wrestlers placed in the top four in
their weight class and will be representing St. Joseph at the Provincial Championships next weekend in
Regina:
Gold: Tobi W., Candyce P., Nat W., Liam M., Sean M.
Silver: Coca D., Mitch N., Anthony O., Kayle C.
Bronze: Rachel T., Chelsey M., Mackenzie T., Madison W., Kiera P.
Fourth: Jade K., Erika P., Ty G.
The above mentioned wrestlers and Nik W. are reminded that there is a brief meeting at the beginning of
lunch in Mr. Hounjet’s classroom.
Wrestlers that are attending provincials are reminded that there is practice all week after school
downstairs in the wrestling room!
St. Joseph High School has had 6 works of art chosen for the Mendel Student Art Show - Month of
April – fabulous! The usual number chosen would be 4 or five works. Congratulations to Kellie B. (2
works), Katie C. (2 works), Kara T. (elephant paper mache sculpture) and Michelle B. (collage on
paper). You have made us all proud.
Holy Family Cathedral Youth – Table Mountain Ski Trip, Sat., March 10th from 10:30am-7pm. All
information including permission forms available on the website youth.holyfamilycathedral.ca.

Thinkfast – This is a 25-hour retreat for high school students where participants fast (don’t eat) while
exploring poverty and social injustice. This year’s theme is Together, We Hold the Future in Our Hands,
looking at agriculture and climate change. Thursday, March 22nd @ 12pm to Fri., March 23 @ 1pm. For

Lifetouch will be @ St. Joseph on March 7, 8 and 9th to complete Grade 12 grad photos. Please sign up
in the Main Office ASAP. Sitting fee is $30.00 (cash or cheque).
