Youth Member Data in Compass

It is the policy of the Scout Association that all youth members must have at least some
minimum data entered into Compass. This has been enshrined in POR as follows:
14.12(b)
Compass must contain accurate and up-to date information on all youth, adult
Members and Associate Members of the Association as well as connected
individuals such as Executive Committee Members, Occasional Helpers and relevant
parents/carers.
14.12(e)
Responsibility for maintaining youth data rests with the leader of the Section(s) to
which the young person belongs.
This document shows, in outline, the data requirements as there have been some questions
about the minimum requirement and how the existing MMS youth data and bulk upload process
maps into that.
