Narrative for email to Stakeholders
Hi to an Awesome Group of Stakeholders!
As you are aware, our Project VISIONS grant is up for refunding – with our application for the next 5
years due to RSA June 8th. I would love to gather input from people who have been key supporters
and stakeholders of Project VISIONS for many years, as I value your perspective.
Writing this grant application has offered me the opportunity to look back over our many challenges
and successes and to look ahead with optimism into the future. We are currently in our 20th year of
operation, 1995-2015! Our next grant will begin in 2016 and culminate in 2020. So creating our plan
for achieving our 2020 VISION is an awesome reality.
I have identified 10 people who I feel are stakeholders and the “heart” of Project VISIONS. As one of
those 10 people, I am hoping that you will schedule about 30 minutes to participate in a telephone
interview, so that I may use your perspective to create our plan for 2020.
To assist in the interview process, Project VISIONS contracted with an external evaluator, Suzanne
Malson, to conduct the interviews. As a retired Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Director, Suzanne is
very knowledgeable about the federal requirements guiding Project VISIONS. Many of you met
Suzanne when she was here interviewing our clients last May, as part of an external evaluation
required for our grant.
Suzanne will be emailing you to arrange a convenient time when the two of you can talk. Attached is a
copy of the interview questions. Since we are on a rather tight timeline for grant submission, I am
hoping you will be able to carve out a 30 minute spot in the next several days. If you have questions
about the interview, please talk with me.
I truly appreciate the support you have offered to me personally, to VISIONS staff, and to the
hundreds of Tribal Members we have served over the last 20 years. Your support has helped us
achieve success.
