COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is designed for ESL students to comprehensively integrate and reinforce productive
skills(writing and speaking) and encourage them in their effort to develop a sense of security in the
mastery of English structures.
The course foci are the following:

Teaching grammar emphasizing the basic language functions.
Presenting grammar in authentic contexts where grammatical forms naturally occur/
Improving accuracy in speech and writing to extend the range of expression.
Promoting vocabulary as integral to the development of structures and usage.

2. Learning target structures through contexts.
3. Extensive written and oral practice stimulating students to write through readings and
discussions.
4. Clarification, practice and continual review of the system of tenses.
