Class 6 Dear Parents and Carers, These are the final details for your child’s school journey from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October 2015. Please make sure that your child is in school by 07.45am (no uniform required) with their clothes in a small /medium sized suitcase that they can pull along .They can bring a small backpack with a book and a small drink and snack for the train, however they must be responsible for their own luggage. We will leave school at 8am. We will be travelling by underground train from Aldgate to Paddington. Then the Mainline train from Paddington to Cardiff. 9.45-11.46am. We MUST catch this train as our tickets are only valid for this train time. We will be met by mini-buses from the centre for the last part of the journey which should take about 50 minutes. Please make sure any medicine, travel sickness tablets, asthma pumps, are in your child`s hand luggage which Miss Caunter will collect when we arrive at the centre. If children need travel sickness tablets please ensure they are taken on arrival at school on Monday and that we have a supply to use while we are there and for the return journey, as we will be using the minibuses to reach some of the activities we are taking part in. Children do not need any pocket money. We will have a sandwich when we arrive at the center. No electrical games or mobile phones are allowed but please bring a book or a magazine to read on the train. Members of staff who will be accompanying your children are Mr. Bello, Ms. Caunter, Ms. Hynes and Mr. Hole. Please do not phone the center as we will be very busy. You can always phone school for a daily report about how your children are. We should be arriving back in school on Friday evening between 6.30-7.00 The website will be updated with the latest arrival time and your can call the school office for further information.
