The project’s purpose is to widen the format of RPR activity and concentration of the part of its resources on the work in all regions of the country as an emergent and systematical component of day-to-day work of expert’s and RPR’s Secretariat. The aim of the project is to support and develop the public demand on important reforms in the country through: -Creating in Kyiv constantly operating regional press-center of RPR for the period of election campaign to coordinate the work in 23 oblasts -Building active and regular communication about reforms suggested by RPR in all oblasts through the most influential media - Attracting support from independent journalists throughout Ukraine - Paralleling communication between the most influential initiatives on the central level with media on the regional level - Strengthening RPR communication in social media - Creating additional possibilities for publicity for regional civic initiatives that will cooperate with RPR Overall objective is to ensure sustainability, legitimacy, and sound quality of the reform-related analytic work by the RPR expert groups and members. The project is aimed at: 1. Advocacy of technical amendments to the laws ‘On the National AntiCorruption Bureau of Ukraine’, ‘On Prevention of Corruption’, and ‘On Reforms Disclosure of Information on Final Beneficiaries’. 2. Assistance to the government in proper implementation of the anticorruption package, notably in forming the governing body of the AntiCorruption Bureau; providing public access to the registry of immovable property ownership; providing public access to the registry of beneficial ownership. 3. Assistance to the government in proper implementation of the anticorruption package, notably in the allocation of required funds from the State Budget; formation of the governing body of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention; establishment of the electronic declaration system; raising widespread public awareness about the content of anti-corruption laws. 4. Assistance to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the development of the implementation program of the Ukrainian anti-corruption policy 2014 – 2017 (within three months after the law On Anti-Corruption Strategy comes into effect) 5. Preparation and advocacy of legislative amendments based on GRECO recommendations for the limitation, as well as providing greater transparency and accountability, of political party and election financing. 6. Preparation and advocacy of legislative amendments regarding the establishment of public financing of political parties.
