Board has determined must or may be re-sat, or attempted following earlier extenuation or a deferral.

CONFIRMATION OF INTENTION TO ENTER FOR ASSESSMENT
Please fill out details below of all re-sit or deferred assessments you intend to take, and when. These
details should correspond to those on the letter you have received from Registry.

If the letter gave options for when to attempt a particular item, you may choose the timing that suits you best.

If the letter indicated that attempting a particular item was optional, you may choose not to take it for the time
being. Once you have taken enough other assessments to either fulfill award requirements or calculate any
compensation of failed award elements, this option will become either no longer available, or a requirement.

Note that:



If you do not indicate your intention to take a particular assessment at a particular time, you will not be
allowed to attempt it then.
If you do not confirm that you intend to take a required assessment at an allowed time, you may become
ineligible to complete the course or award for which you have registered.
Students who took London-based courses are expected to return to London for exam-type re-sit tasks.

If you fail to submit an assignment/project or attend for an exam after having indicated above that
you will enter for it, this will be given an automatic zero grade and count as a fail. If this was to be a resit, no further re-sits will be permitted, which may make you ineligible for the award on which you were
registered. Breaching assessment criteria (e.g. submitting late or over-length work) may likewise be graded
zero. If you anticipate problems in taking an assessment after registering for it using this form, please
urgently contact your Faculty Taught Course Director to request an extension or deferral.

Instead of re-sitting an elective module, it may be possible to switch to take a different one (as set out in the
Re-sits policy). This will require paying a full additional module fee. To make such a request, please indicate
“Wish to switch to module >Code, Name< instead of re-sitting” in the comments box above.
