Rocks are broken down into smaller pieces. This is called weathering.
This can happen in two ways. First, this happens when small rocks hit a big
rock and make pieces break off. Second, this happens when chemicals
wear down pieces of rock.
Erosion
Rocks and pieces of land can be washed or blown away. This is called
erosion. This can happen in many ways. Snow, ice, and water can wash
