7:00 PM.
Reminder: Our regular council meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 St. Mary’s Gym beginning
at 7:00 PM.
Reminder: The KC’s will be selling chicken BBQ plates on Sunday, February 1, 2015 behind St. Mary’s Gym.
Cost per plate has increased to $10.00 per plate. Volunteers need to be there at 7:00 AM to help prepare the
meal. If you cannot come early, we would appreciate any help late to help clean up. Sales begin at 11:00 AM to
1:00 PM.
Reminder: On Friday, January 30, 2015, at 5:00 PM, we will need help seasoning chickens for our KC chicken
BBQ. Texas Chaw will no longer be receiving the chickens and seasoning them for us. We now have a new
walk-in cooler that will enable us to store meat on the premises. A big thank you to Mike Thompson and Floyd
Fritcher, Jr. of Texas Chaw for doing that for the past several years.
Reminder: The KC’s will be cooking and serving meals once again for the Journey class on the second
Wednesday of each month. We will be cooking Wednesday, February 11, beginning at 4:30 PM. Meal to be
ready by 5:45 PM. Any help is greatly appreciated. Steve Kocurek has once again volunteered to be in charge.
Reminder: The KC Lenten Fish Fry will begin on Friday, February 20, 2015. Preparations will begin at noon
on that day. Please try to come and help. We will be selling plates behind St. Mary’s Gym.
Reminder: The KC Festival will be held on Sunday, March 1, at the Caldwell SPJST Hall. Please try to
volunteer your time and donations.
Thank you to Brother Knights of KC Council 6366 for preparing the delicious steak meal for the St. Mary’s
Reverse Raffle for the new parish hall project on Friday, January 23 at the Burleson County Expo Center. The
meal and the raffle were a huge success.
Thank you to Tyler Kocurek for chairing the Free Throw contest that was held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in
St. Mary’s Gym.
Brother Knight, Santos Vasquez, recently passed away.

KC Insurance Program
The Greatest Fraternal Benefit: Knights of Columbus Insurance & Field Agents
When Father Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882, he was determined to protect
Catholic families from the financial hardships caused when the breadwinner died. From its humble beginnings,
the insurance program has grown to more than $90 Billion of insurance shielding our members and their
families, with 1,400 professional brother Knight agents fulfilling our Founder’s dream. This dream is being
fulfilled as there is no higher rated insurer in North America than the Knights of Columbus.
Today our Life insurance, long term care, disability income and annuity products can help you at every stage
of life and when you need it most. The Knights of Columbus is in a unique position to provide financial
security exclusively to members and their families. Our Council is blessed to have a pair of Professional highly
trained Brother Knights who are available to provide and service our financial & insurance needs. Our Local
Field Agents Doug & Jody Supak carry the vision of Father McGivney to protect and provide for Catholic
families and have your best interest at heart. They have once again been recognized as members of the Million
Dollar Round Table which is a prestigious honor bestowed upon only the top 1% of financial professionals
throughout the World. They can help you, so, do yourself a favor and contact them at (979) 968-5332 or email
them at supakins@cmaaccess.com to set up a time for them to visit with you and your family. Yes, they even
still make house calls like the good old days! They have a unique way of taking these complicated financial
matters and simplifying them so you can set up a successful financial plan that will benefit you now & in the
not so distant future. Just as you plan a trip or a building project, it is imperative you set up a financial plan
instead of leaving it to chance. That’s exactly what Doug & Jody do…help members succeed financially by
developing and implementing plans to fit their individual needs. Call Doug or Jody at (979) 968-5332 today to
see how you’re path to financial security is looking! This way you can either continue down the same path or
make changes to better serve you and your family’s needs.
