Screening for Life Awareness Training Training Dates: Tuesday 2nd June – Bangor Hospital, 10am – 3pm Tuesday 9th June – Glan Clwyd Hospital, 10am – 3pm Tuesday 23rd June – PHW Clwydian House, Wrexham, 10am – 3pm Your local NHS Screening Engagement Team is pleased to offer a free, one-day Screening for Life Awareness training course. What is Screening for Life? Screening for Life is an annual health campaign run by the Screening Division of Public Health Wales. The campaign will run during the month of July, with the aim of raising awareness of the national screening programmes in Wales. Who is the training for? The training is suitable for health professionals, workplace health leads and community based workers who have regular contact with the public. What is the purpose of the training? The purpose of the training is to deliver key messages about: Breast screening Cervical screening Bowel screening Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening The training will also demonstrate how you can support the Screening for Life campaign and plan awareness raising events and activities in your local community/workplace.
