Statistical Science – a guide to volunteering
The Volunteering Services Unit exists to help UCL students get involved in volunteering
activities in the local community. We have over 500 different projects on offer, including lots
of one-off events where you don't need to make a regular commitment.
This sheet is a taster of some of the opportunities on offer – you can find plenty more at
www.uclu.org/volunteering/directory .
Students tell us that through volunteering they’ve discovered London, felt more at home,
and made new friends. It can also help you find paid work and gain useful experiences.
And at UCL, you’ve got one of the UK’s largest university volunteering teams to support you.
So if you’d like to know more, get in contact with us at the Volunteering Services Unit:
phone 020 7679 2512, email volunteering@ucl.ac.uk, or drop into our offices on the first
floor of the Lewis’s Building on Gower Street.
