Excellence in Innovations Award Winners Announced
(Raleigh, NC 9/3/15) North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC)
announced the winners of the 2015 Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU)
Excellence in Innovation Awards at their annual meeting in Greensville, NC on August 22, 2015.
The winning programs were announced to county managers and commissioners at the 108th
NCACC Annual Conference. This award combines two previous recognition programs-- the
Productivity Award and the Outstanding County Program Award. LGFCU sponsored the
NCACC's Productivity Awards for the past three years, and is now the sponsor for the new
combined award.
“LGFCU is proud to support cutting edge innovative programs,” stated Maurice Smith, President
of LGFCU. “When local government services improve through innovation it is a benefit to the
entire community.”

Catawba County Library
Buncombe County Health and Human Services
Orange County Health Department
Durham County Criminal Justice Resource Center
Perquimans, Chowan, and Gates Counties
Wilson County Social Services
Rutherford County EMS
Cleveland County Department of Social Services
Cumberland County
