ANTI-LITTER POSTER COMPETITION
“The Beauty of the Forest is in your Hands”
Design a poster to help us promote the anti-litter message and encourage everyone to respect and care for
their community and the New Forest. There are two age categories and the winning entry from each will
feature in this Summer’s anti-litter campaign across the New Forest district.
Category 1:
Ages 5-10 yrs.
Category 2:
Ages 11-16 yrs.
Design a poster on the theme of:
“Have a Great Picnic –Not a Rubbish One!” to
encourage visitors to the forest to take their litter
home with them.
Please include the slogan above in your design.
Litter along our roadsides is a serious problem:
design a poster to discourage people from
throwing litter from their cars.
You can use the slogan “The Beauty of the
Forest is in Your Hands” OR make up your own.

Your entry should be on A4 size paper and can be in any medium e.g. pen, paint,
pencil, and must be your own work (The use of copyright images is not permitted)
Please be aware the image will be scanned and therefore collages may not be
suitable.
Closing Date


Designs and application forms must be received no later than Sat 31st May 2014
Only designs with a completed application form will be accepted


Please be aware we are unable to return design entries to applicants

The Winners and Runners Up will be notified on Friday 13th June 2014. The
winning entries will be used in the Summer Anti-Litter Campaign.
The runner up in each category will receive £25 gift vouchers
There will an exhibition of the shortlisted entries at Lymington Town Hall from
Monday 16th – 23rd June 2014
The judge’s decision is final



