SENIOR DIRECTOR CHECKLIST
Working with a Brand New Director is a lot like working with a New Consultant. There are excitements and
anxieties, confidence and uncertainty, and often some emotional ups and downs.
Consistent touching base and following up, assuming nothing, and helping her stay focused on her dreams are
all "critical inches" for Senior Directors in the development of lots of offspring directors.
Follow this checklist below to help your Offspring Director have a really strong start!

Help her set a NEW GOAL IMMEDIATELY!! This will keep the momentum going and the team producing,
and will prevent her from experience a feeling like "Post Partum" once her Directorship goal is reached
and done.
Schedule a Goal Setting Session to discuss the very important New Director Programs, and the
significance she will make on our National Area in doing so with our goal of 100% of our offspring
directors reaching the New Director programs. (Must hit all three to be Dean's List eligible. With each
program, she will receive $1000 bonus check and you will receive $500 as her Sr)
Map out her Director level car of choice
Schedule her Unit/Director Debut -- it is important for the Sr.
Director to take the lead in planning and orchestrating the details of this event. Not good when a New
Director steps out of the field to "plan an event". This event is held in the New Director's honor, and is
hosted by the Sr. Director.
Provide New Director with all important Event Dates for the Year, as well as Conference call information
and details. You are her resource to be able to access everything necessary! (Included but not limited to:
New Director Education Week, next big Area events, next big Company events, etc)
Plan to touch base with her at least 3 times a week -- no agenda is necessary (except following these
steps), but simply to touch base with her on where she's at with her goals, what questions she has as a
New Director)
Determine your Weekly Success Event plans, including when she plans to begin holding meetings on her
own, and providing suggestions for venues, etc.
Keep her up to speed on her important "Tracked Numbers". Often there is so much to "take in" as a
New Director, that its easy to miss some really key things, especially as it relates to tracking. And we
know that tracking relates to how many goals we do/do not reach, contests we achieve/don't achieve,
etc. So keeping an eye on her "key numbers" will be a blessing to her so she doesn't miss anything
important.
Share with her your Director "Brain Book", methods you use to organize your office, delegating tasks,
hiring necessary help if not already in place, etc.
Direct her Consultants to her as their Leader. This will help them make the transition more smoothly,
and to feel confident that they are in great hands. "Oh Suzy I would love to help you with that...but I
know that Sally as your New Director is the perfect person to assist you and will be thrilled to do so!"
Make sure your New Director fully understands the marketing plan and how she will make her
money/get paid as a Sales Director. Include her husband or fiance in that meeting when applicable.

Teach her to follow the people trail first, which will lead to the money trail....and to understand how her
paychecks are earned. She should be so proficient in understanding that after she has met with you, that
she could teach a class on it. It is so sad when we see New Directors leaving money on the table, but
that can be prevented when her Sr Director explains everything well.
Tuck her dreams in your heart so you can keep encouraging her toward all of her goals via multiple
methods of communication.
Praise her publicly and tell the world how proud you are to have her as an Offspring Director....always
supporting, always lifting, always believing.
Help her get plugged into a New Director Orientation call with Amie, and into the New Director Weekly
Conference Calls.
