I knew that the email needed to keep straight to the point but the article did further extend on other tips and why they were important. This resource contributed greatly to my research project. After following these tips, the two professionals agreed to being interview through email and they both seem to want to help me. My research question asks about the levels of simple and complex carbohydrates at different stages of the ripening process. I had a bit of previous knowledge about how more sugar is present in ripened bananas but I needed scientific information to back up that educated guess.
