SUMMARY VS. ANALYSIS
A SUMMARY is an overview of a work. It is short and usually objective in tone. A summary typically tries to present the main ideas of a work, “presenting the substance” of the work but in a
“condensed form.” The summary discusses the “WHAT” of a work.
