March Dukes of the Month Sara Stone/ Spanish Sara was nominated as Duke of the Month for Spanish because of her excellent attitude and participation in class. Sara comes to every class ready to put her Spanish skills to use. She always does her best whether we’re learning vocabulary, applying new grammar skills, or working on group activities. Her classmates have given Sara credit for boosting their oral participation grades because Sara engages them in conversation in Spanish and makes the conversation fun. I have overheard some very interesting and creative discussions in Sara’s corner of the room. She asks questions, stretches her vocabulary, and makes her peers more confortable with their speaking skills. She is also very helpful and reaches out to help her peers if they are struggling. Muchas gracias, Sara, for being such a positive role model and leader in the classroom. -Sra.
