The Emstar Express Flyer is the SME owned, which is operating the company
offers the services of the combination of the courier, removal, and cattle transportation to
businesses and home clients in the UAE market. The company worked hard in the two
years to increase its business but the company is experiencing the information
management issues, as there are only few personal computers in the office while most of
the information is manually stored in filing cabinets that are creating more issues
concerning business decision making with the incomplete, incorrect, and unreliable
information. Therefore, the report analyses the business and information management
issues of the company and provides recommendations concerning the introduction of the
IT and online presence in order to operate the business operations and business decision
effectively and to make effective strategic plans.
Organizational Management for Implementing the Information System
It is observed that the enterprise even the small ones are encourage to utilize the
integrated information system to enhance the coordination processes between business
functions and organizations units and to promote effective decision making processes to
attain new level of business efficiency to satisfy its employees and customers as well as to
meet business requirements (Strong & Volkoff, 2010). Therefore, the Emstar Express
Flyer company is recommended to adopt the incremental and facilitative approaches to
manage the organization change due to the utilization of information system effectively.
