GUIDELINES FOR PERFUSIONIST LICENSURE WITHIN DHCC
An applicant for licensure to practice as a perfusionist in the DHCC must meet the following requirements:
Perfusionist:

Bachelor degree (or diploma) from an accredited institution in one of the Life
Sciences; and

Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion Program; and

Proof of 100 independent clinical perfusion procedures; and

Possession of a current license registration or certificate, as appropriate, in
good standing from his/her country of training, authorizing the applicant to
engage in the practice of Perfusion; and

Must have at least two (2) years of experience of Professional Practice as a
licensed or certified perfusionist

