Proposal Submission for Ready for the World Funding
Please review guidelines for proposal submissions at: http://rftw.utk.edu/funding/application/
Go to: http://rftw.utk.edu/funding/submit-your-proposal/ to provide identifying information and upload proposal
materials.
Each proposal must include:
1) Cover sheet (see below)
2) Project narrative of 1500 words or less*, including:
a. Description of your project and how it aligns with Ready for the World goals and learning outcomes.
b. Explicit statement of the proposal’s impact on undergraduate education including an estimate of the number
of undergraduate students served.
c. Description of how you will partner with others to insure broad impact on undergraduate students.
d. Description of how the event will be publicized.
3) An itemized budget for the amount requested. Please also show how you will use funds from partner
organizations.
4) Endorsement letter(s)
a. From a faculty advisor for student organizations.
b. From the Department Head and Dean for faculty/staff proposals.
*Projects requesting less than $500, may write an abbreviated narrative of approximately 500 words.
