Ami Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd. is a product engineering company focused on delivering end to end
solutions in the power and energy sector. Ami Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd. is part of the Swan Group which
is over 100 years old and listed in the Mumbai Stock Exchange with a market capital of USD 350
Million. Swan Energy Limited, Ami Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd., Miri Technologies and their investment
companies are part of the Swan Group.
Ami Tech is an ISO 9001-2008 company, incorporated in the year 2005 primarily with the focus of
developing in-house, indigenous solutions for automation in Power and Energy, Transportation, Oil
& Gas and Retail.
Endowed with specific domain expertise of automation in Power and Utilities, Ami Tech has been
successful in developing world class products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and has also
been successful in obtaining certifications and approvals from various state and central utilities as
well as Indian Railways for its RTU and AMR. Our products are tested and certified by regulatory
authorities like ERADA (Electrical Research And Development Association) and NABL (The National
Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories).Ami Tech is empanelled by NRPC
(Northern Regional Power Committee) as a vendor for its RTU A-200. Ami Tech is an ISO 9001:2008
company and an empanelled Energy Service Company (ESCO) with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency
(BEE).
Ami Tech has a fully equipped state-of-the-art development, manufacturing and testing facility
situated at Hyderabad. This facility has a pool of well trained and experienced personnel who cater
to installation and commissioning assignments all over India. AMI also has offices at New Delhi,
Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Rajkot, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi.
AMI has rich and varied expertise in Research and Development of high end embedded products
aimed at automation and is focused on developing world class IT products aimed at the growing
power industry.
With the view to leverage its domain expertise in automation and take advantage of the huge
market potential for reliable products in process automation AMI, has designed and developed its
own Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and Feeder Remote Terminal Unit (FRTU) which sits at the heart of
the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system for power transmission and
distribution. Other application areas for SCADA that AMI is now focusing on are Industrial Process
Automation, Water Treatment and Distribution, Waste Water Management, Oil and Gas Pipelines,
Wind Farms and Facility Management to monitor HVAC, Access and Energy Consumption.
AMI has also developed a state-of-the-art Intelligent Automatic Meter Reader (iAMR) which is
connected to various types of Energy Meters to enable the monitoring and collection of
consumption data and has successfully supplied over 100000 units of iAMR to TCS for
implementation of IT applications for energy accounting/auditing & IT based consumer service
centers under Part A of the R-APDRP (Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms

Program) under the 11th Plan for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. AMI also has strategic
tie-ups with various other empanelled members under the R-APDRP scheme such as HCL,
Honeywell, KEPCO/KDN and L&T for the implementation of SCADA as well as IT Applications for
various other states.
AMI continues to improve on the current AMR and RTU designs and in addition is developing new
products such as Smart Energy Meters and shortly its own Energy Management System which will be
aimed at Smart Grid.

The Key Management of Ami Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd is as follows
Mr. Arasharial John Saju has done his M.Sc. in Mathematics, Post-Graduate Diploma in Software
Design & Development and is a certified Project Management Professional. He is the Vice President
of Ami Tech since 2005. He has 25 years of rich experience in the design & development of
embedded system products. During his professional career he has been associated with renowned
corporate house, CMC Ltd.
Mr. Ajay Prakash has done his M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur and M.Sc in Physics
from Punjab University. He is now the Global Head- Business Development at Ami Tech . He has 30
years of rich experience in varied fields of Program Management of large government projects,
business strategy and planning, government contract management, etc. He has also worked closely
with Pattern Recognition, Satellite imaging and data processing, Geographic Information Systems,
Air Traffic Control systems, Rad navigation and tracking systems, Fingerprint Identification systems.
During his professional career he has been associated with renowned corporate houses like CMC
Ltd., Reliance Infocomm and Motherson Sumi InfoTech & Designs (MIND).
Mr. K. Sridhar Rao has done his B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication. He is the General
Manager of Ami Tech since 2006. He has 23 years of rich experience in the design, development and
deployment of embedded systems for GSM /GPRS systems , RFID units and RTUs.He has closely
worked with design & development of solar power & digital electronic products. During his
professional career he has been associated with renowned companies like Reliable Power System
Pvt. Ltd. , Renewable Energy System Ltd and CMC Ltd.
