Friends of St Joseph’s Report

Fundraisers comedy night was a great success. Thank you to Ann and Vanessa for all their support.

Approx. $20,000 raised with 340 people in attendance.

Event Finder seemed to really work well as we seemed to bring a lot of people who were not directly associated with the school. Not as much pressure to hit up friends by parents.

Flying fox – finalising our costs and design.

Bark costs were higher than initially expected but the funds raised will now cover that.

Four winds grant - Chrome books already purchased and in use (Ann). A big thank you from Ann on behalf of all.

Waiting to hear on the Culture Club costumes grant.

School lunches – the current cohort of supporting parents are moving on and there is not a great uptake from new so looking at alternatives to support this.

Looking at doing calendars and social Friday night drinks to re-energise the bonds between Friends/parents.

CS thanked the Friends for their support and Viv for presenting the update.
