All tuition is due in full by December 1, 2015. Parents may refer to the tuition contract once

Tuition Policy/Contract for Tuition
Non-residents will be considered for acceptance at Second Street School/Frankfort Middle School if:




The student has shown continuous progress during the previous/current school year
The student has not been suspended/expelled from any school during the previous/current school year
The student has not missed more than ten (10) days during the previous/current school year and/or five
(5) days the previous current school semester
The class numbers are not within two capacity
The non-resident student may attend SSS for the probationary period of two (2) weeks. The student who is
not able to meet the requirements during the probationary period will not be accepted to SSS. Both student
and parent must sign the following tuition contract after a two week probationary period.
Criteria for good standing:
Tuition students shall maintain the following in order to remain a student at SSS.






Student will not have more than three (3) unexcused absences per quarter.
Student will have no more than 5 (five) unexcused tardies.
Students must be passing five of seven classes.
Student will have no out of school suspensions.
Student must have four referrals or fewer per quarter.
Student must have eight referrals or fewer per school year.
Review Process:
Tuition students will be reviewed every quarter. If criteria are not met during a quarter, the following
quarter the student will be on probation.
Review Committee:
The review of tuition students will be conducted by the administrative team. The team will include
elementary and middle school representatives, counselors and the assistant principal. Appeals to the decision
made by the review committee can be made to the Second Street Principal via written request. Further appeals
would be referred to the Superintendent of Frankfort Independent Schools via written request.
I understand that this contract will be reviewed each grading period or when deemed necessary upon
request of any employee of SSS. I understand that my child may be dismissed from SSS at any time, if the
student does not abide by any part of this contract.
