Vice President of Finance Report – Ross Goodwin
Affinity contract
- Trying to contact Ken Hayes we should provide projetions
- Sent him alumni breakdown by grad year for them to provide
projections on 10/28
- Have not heard back from Ken yet
- Dave sent Ross some projections
Budget
- Within budget on all things

Vice President of Recruitment and Volunteers – Joe Horak
o Need to bring on 4 new members
o Devising a new recruitment strategy and methodology presented to
board tonight(handout)
 Strategically building fertile ground of members in Sonoma
county and local areas
 Look at major industries and businesses
 Find contacts or go to human resources to find if alumni are in
those companies
 Look to cross reference our data to see if we have alumni in
the industries and companies
 Increase diversity efforts of ethnicity, schools, thoughts, etc.
 Focus on getting the campus employee seat filled first

-Nadine monitors attendance and will email out to committee chair
and chair will be tracking attendance at meetings and email back to
Nadine. She is tracking overall attendance as well as committee
attendance.

Events Committee – Nate Campbell
- Not talking about events; behind in schedule. Will schedule
meeting soon.
Sips, Bites and Bids recap
-Was fun, wished there was more attendance
-enjoyed rededication ceremony
**Sips not having a parent weekend was due to the
department disbanding, not likely to return. Need better
communication w/ what is occurring on campus. Need to consider
this for next year.**
Golf Tournament recap (Felte)
-Growing very well; attended lots of good amenities
-Anne, SA, and AGd members were great help
-Would like more representation from the SSU community
next year.
-Need to work on marketing and more involvement and
representation from SSU community
- Need to circulate pictures
-SSU student athlete golfers
-More golfers from the faculty, Development, A&F
-Travis asked why we can’t do 2 golf tournaments
-Spike/David commented that it takes a lot of work.

Lagunitas mixer- November 25th (Lauren)
-Incubators played in tap room and piped out
-Kitchen will provide platters
-Marketing will come tomorrow
-Only 20 days we need to sell out this adds to our bottom line
-Laurie to email information out to board when it is live.
