Overall responsibility for Air Fayre CA, Los Angeles
3 month probationary through Adecco & direct hire with salary negotiations at the
Overall Purpose:
Maintenance and repair of equipment and complex systems, using a proactive and
preventative maintenance approach. Completing repairs on assigned equipment to ensure equipment
optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual equipment inspections.
* Maintains records and log books on equipment for historical documentation.
* Works from and writes work orders for corrective actions for equipment deficiencies arising from
inspections and break downs to insure equipment uptime.
* Understand, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems.
* Must adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
* Experience with high and low pressure boilers, water treatment systems, water testing, softeners,
HVAC, refrigeration, cooling towers, air compressors, fire protection systems, building control systems,
lighting systems and power distribution, is required.
Environmental Requirements:
* You will have to work/spend periods of time inside and outside in a variety of weather conditions (e.g.,
Cold, Rain, Heat, etc). Indoor temperatures range from -0 degrees to 80 degrees.
* Able to lift 40 pounds.
* We must conduct drug tests and complete background checks on all applicants. We also conduct
random tests for certain positions during the course of employment.
Education:
* Must have high school diploma or GED.
* Certified technical/trade school training.
* CAL-OSHA certification preferred.
Person Specification
* Must be detailed oriented.
* Must possess strong customer contact skills.
* Safety is priority, and knowledge of CAL-OSHA standards and practices.
* Able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Knowledge of state and local codes a plus.
Candidates will be required to go through pre-employment drug screen, criminal check and/or airport
