Weekly skills:
Theme: All about me: Me and my friends
Letter: Letter “Nn, sight words beginning with Nn”

Math: Counting and recognizing numbers 1-6, introduce measurement words and continue with
position words.
Science: Me and my friends – using magnifying glasses.
Creative development: Painting, play dough, drawing, collage materials based on skills of the week
and theme. A variety of music and movement songs relating to theme.
Physical Development: Active movement, song and dance, jumping, running, hopping, games in pairs
and groups to encourage friendships etc.
Bilingualism and Biculturalism: UAE national anthem, UAE flag, other friends cultures, in UAE.
Personal and social Development: Children will discuss how to be kind to their friends etc. Also,
children will create pictures of their friends, and show how they can work together with their
friends through learning skills such as turn taking and working together. Drawing and creating
pictures of their friends.

 Please remember healthy snacks and lunches. No cakes, Nutella, or sugary drinks.
 Yellow day on 19th of November.
 No parents in classrooms while lessons are on unless approved by the Principal.
 No older siblings to go into KG classrooms at any time.
