ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Time Commitment

This is a 3-credit hour course conducted over eight weeks. In order to meet and maintain accreditation standards, course activities and assignments are designed to command student engagement, on average, between 12 to 15 hours per week. Spending less time would be insufficient for success. It is important to view assignment due dates provided in the Assignment and Due Dates section.

Attendance

Class participation is encouraged and expected. Participation is defined as reading and preparing for class, completing and submitting assignments on time, engaging consistently in class discussions, and taking part in all other course activities. The Assignments and Due Dates section details the due dates for all assignments and the final project.

Team Members’ Expectations:

The Final Team Project is an integral portion of this course. In order to maintain the integrity of the grading process as it relates to the team project, there are several procedures to which each team member must adhere:

Team members must collaborate for a mutual time/method to brainstorm ideas, assign tasks, and create deadlines

All members of a team should actively participate in order to effectively contribute to the team; the individual members of each team will be graded as such. Lack of quality in the delivery of the final project, as well as, lack of participation and collaboration from any individual team member will bare consequences. The following guidelines create the boundaries in which each team will operate:
