promise during my year as President to work
tirelessly to build on and further develop the various
initiatives of my illustrious predecessors.

The Installation Dinner is a long part of our Club’s
tradition and one of two great events we hold every
year. Again we will be returning to the Guildhall,
situated in the heart of the City, which has been its
Powerhouse since the twelfth century.
My theme for the year is Fun and Education. During
the year I want to provide members with
opportunity to learn about the City and surrounding
area whilst enjoying fun events.
To help me launch my year, I’m delighted that Sir
Bob Reid, already known to a number of our
Members, has kindly accepted to be our guest
speaker.
