Existing Trails
Project 1.0
N Orr Creek Trail
1.1 Realign east end of trail to bring it higher on the hillside away from erosive area of creek.
1.2 If property boundaries allow, connect (North) Orr Creek Trail with (South) Orr Creek Trail.
1.3 Close and re-vegetate Use Trails.
1.4 Remove old drinking fountain.
Project 2.0 & 3.0 S Orr Creek Trail & Lower Canyon Creekside Trails
2.1 Abandon, revegetate, and re-align existing trail. Remove existing bridge. Provide two new
observation platform/bridges. Provide interpretive signage. Restore and re-vegetate existing use trails.
Project 4.0
“Maple Hill Trail”
4.1 Accept current alignment, routine maintenance.
4.2 Include in trail naming program.
Project 5.0
Canyon Creek Trail
5.1 Re-align trail to allow improved switchbacks. Lengthen trail to allow shallower grade.

Orr/Canyon Creek Connector Trail
6.1 Road to trail conversion?

Canyon Creek Cutoff Trail
7.1 Decommission trail, re-vegetate, place split rail fence and interpretive signage.

8.1 Routine Maintenance, continue efforts to discourage shortcutting.

Picnic Trail
9.1 Add directional signage to preferred creek access route
9.2 Add new trail from east end of picnic area to N Orr Creek Trail
9.3 Place fencing along edge of picnic area to discourage short cutting
9.4 Add interpretive signage to instruct in importance of staying on trail etc.
9.5 Re-vegetate areas impacted by shortcutting.
