Dance Camp!!!
DYNAMIC DANCING WITH YVETTE will be hosting a Dance Camp this summer
for dancers ages 5 through 13. The camp is scheduled for Monday, June
29th through Friday, July 3rd from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
There are performances following at the end of class on July 3rd and on
July 4th at the Annual Ice Cream Social held at the Woodland Community
Center.
Cost is $130 for Woodland residents/$156 non-residents. An additional
costume/material fee of $55 must be paid, by check made payable to
Dynamic Dancing with Yvette and left with Woodland Community Services,
at the time of registration.

The focus for this camp is learning choreography, and designing and executing a
costume, to perform a fun and energetic Dance which will be presented at the 4th of July
Ice Cream Social. Camp includes elements from Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop: warm ups,
isolations, both parallel and turned out technique, traditional & contemporary steps,
across the floor combinations and movement games. We will work on a variety of skills
such as balance, flexibility, strength, memory, patterns, working with others, and
musicality.
Camp Dress Code is dance clothes and black ballet or jazz shoes, hair pulled back.
Students need to bring water and a snack every day.
2015 Summer Performances
Below is what's happening during Summer Sessions:
1. There are multiple opportunities to perform, but dancers can take
class and not perform just like during Spring Session.
2. We will be learning new dances, specifically for Summer
classes/performances.
3. If performing, there is a Costume Fee of $55, cash or check made
payable to Dynamic Dancing. Each class's costume will be worn for
all 3 summer performances.
4. Because of the condensed schedule we will not be able to add
performers after the deadline.
Summer Session Part 1 Performance Opportunity:
Students who Register for Summer Part 1 and/or Dance Camp are eligible to perform.
Commitment forms, Participation fee & Costume money are due by June 19th

July 4th Ice Cream Social - Sat. July 4th 1:00-3:00pm, at the
Woodland Community & Senior Center.

There will be a dress rehearsal for this performance on Fri. July 3rd
at the WCSC Youth Room. Each class will have a time slot between
4:00-7:00pm.
o
There is a $20/$24NR participation fee paid to Woodland
Community Services (661-2000) due by June 19th for this
performance.
Summer Session Part 2 Performance Opportunities:
Students who Register for Summer Part 2 are eligible to perform.
Commitment forms, Participation fee & Costume money are due by July 24th (unless you
registered during Summer Part 1)


The Woodland Tomato Festival - Sat. August 8th 9:00am-2:00pm,
specific time TBA, on Main St. by the Opera House.

There will be a dress rehearsal for this performance on Fri.
August 7th at the WCSC Youth Room. Each class will have a time
slot between 3:00-6:00pm.
o
There is a $20/$24NR participation fee paid to Woodland
Community Services (661-2000) due by July 24th for this
performance.
Yolo County Fair - Sat. August 15th, specific time TBA.
o
There will be a dress rehearsal for this performance on Fri.
