Details:
1. Amount
15,000 baht per month as a research assistant
2. Tuition Fee
This scholarship does not provide financial assistance towards payment of
tuition fees; however, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University will exempt
students from tuition fees.
3. Travel Allowance
A one-time travel allowance for 20,000 baht
4. Term of scholarship payment
For the duration of the program in which recipients enroll
a) Exchange students and faculty for 3 months
b) Students enrolled in a Master’s course or Doctoral course at Faculty of
Dentistry, Mahidol University, their scholarship award can be 24 months
(Master’s) or 36 to 48 months (Doctoral).
c) The scholarship award will be valid only during the duration of the
candidate’s enrollment at Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.
Eligibility Requirements
a) Candidates for exchange program have to be students or Faculties of International
Dental Collaboration of the Mekong River Region institutions.
b) Candidates for a Master’s course or Doctoral course have to be Faculty members
of International Dental Collaboration of the Mekong River Region institutions.
c) Candidates for a Master’s course or Doctoral course have to be qualified as the
requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies and Program requirement. In case that
candidates do not meet Program or Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements,

Screening Method
Candidates will be selected on a basis of submitted materials and the results of a
language test, written test and phone and/or mail interview if necessary.

Applicants can apply throughout the year
If the applicants would like to enroll in the 1st semester please apply before 31
March, and the 2nd semester, please apply before 31 August

Notification of Results
Applicants who succeed in obtaining scholarship funding will be sent a letter of
acceptance from Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University to the address written on
their application form.

Students accepted in the program (or scholarship) have to attend activities required by
both Mahidol University and the Office of Higher Education Commission, Thai
Ministry of Education.
