What is the Southwark Wellbeing Hub and how can we help? We are a service providing information and support to anyone living in Southwark who is worried about their wellbeing, or that of someone close to them. We are here to help take the stress out of finding, choosing and receiving support. The courses We are working in partnership with SLaM Recovery College and Advising London to produce a diverse and exciting timetable of workshops. The courses will take place at the Southwark Wellbeing Hub and Beormund Community Centre. Can I access the courses? The courses are free and open to anyone who has concerns about their wellbeing and lives in Southwark or has a Southwark GP. How do I book a place or find out more? Please complete the application form attached to this brochure and return it to a Your Way Worker or the Southwark Wellbeing Hub. We will assess your application and let you know whether the courses you selected are right for you. The SLaM Recovery College courses are designed for people who would like support with their wellbeing. They provide information and strategies to develop understanding and resilience. The Advising London courses are for people who wish to develop their computer skills, need help with navigating the benefits system or support with their housing. Bidding on Social Housing and help with improving your current living situation This course will teach you how to bid on Social Housing properties and will give you the tools to improve your living situation. The session includes three short, seated meditations.
